Create you Own No-Prep Speech Therapy Activity Box


Having a grab and go speech sound kit has been a huge addition to my speech therapy room because it eliminates my prep time! No more digging around my office looking for pieces to go with my therapy plan!


Here are some ideas for creating your own no-prep speech sound binder that you can grab and go anytime!






  1. Get a container that will fit everything you need, is easy to transport, and is sturdy (KEY - so you don’t drop everything). My favorite container is Storage Bin with Lid by Simply Tidy and Insert from Micheals.

  2. Think of activities your students enjoy! Some of my students favaroties are covering, dabbing, drawing, moving, and cutting!

  3. Grab items that lend themselves to those activities. Here is a list you can refer to:



  • Mini erasers

  • Bingo daubers

  • Markers - bonus if they’re smelly

  • Dice

  • Crayons

  • Bingo chip

  • Magnetic wand and chips

  • Clothespins

  • Pencils

  • Scissors

  • Glue

  • Hole Punch

  • Toy Car

  • Fly Swatter

  • Stamps

  • Washi Tape

  • Ink Pad

  • Dry Eraser Markers
